My favorite piece in every Obelisk mini-collection is the silk scarf. Printed and stitched in London from immaculate 2.5 oz silk, the colors are bold and the texture regally smooth. I usually approach scarfs as a rare opportunity to indulge in design opulence. Rococo collage and dense patterns. But it's 2021 and my mood has been stark. So in celebration of Dada, of cacophony, of chaos, I've stripped this scarf down to black and red. An array of bold type treatments extracted and recombined from from Dadaist publications Der Dada 3, Der Zeltweg, and writer Ribemont-Dessaignes's defintion of Dada as "Oui Non."
I'm very excited about this piece. For the first time, this bold accessory comes inside an equally bold metal case, printed with the collection's wordmark.
Care: Wash at 86°F, tumble dry on normal. Iron on low temp, do not wring.
