Utagawa Kuniyoshi knew a thing or two about ghost stories. In this monstrous scene, he depicts the Princess Takiyasha, trapped by imperial samurai sent to hunt her down. But the young woman has old magic on her side, and from the scroll n her hand she reads the spell to summon a Gashadokuro—a gigantic skeleton assembled from the bodies of the soldiers that followed her doomed father in an unsuccessful revolt against the Japanese emperor.

All Obelisk prints use durable, fade resistance inks on museum-quality 110 lb (250 gsm) matte, uncoated archival paper, and are shipped in sturdy packaging directly to you door.
